Crossroads...

Nung Monday, I went to my 10 o clock appointment at the driver's license office to get my written test para sa learner's license ku.. it's pretty much just the same as the learner's permits you can get there sa pinas but here they make it look cooler kc card xa.. hehe coool! XD

basically pumila lng kmi tpos i took the test and passed it.. they processed the card then tada!!! may learner's license na aq!! :) :D .. tito joel said he'll teach me driving next week.. so by next week ill drive FOR DA 1ST TYM EVER D2!! XD .. hehe it's nothing to be thrilled about pero wen u think about it lyk that edi nice dba? XD

aftr that we went to tita jinky's house (c tita norie, james, and becca and kasama ku btw) cuz i had to take care of some stuff for my student loan for UNF.. tpos we had lunch then went to UNF..

at UNF, i got my 1st shot para sa immunization ko cuz the results of my blood test turned out that i'm not fully immunized dhl "gray" (hi gray if u'r readng this XD :) ..) ung naging result for the measles.. in short.. i have to get the shots AGAIN.. so this was the 1st.. ima be taking the 2nd one in exactly 30 days..

aftr this, we went to the cashier at building 1 sa UNF.. i had to issue a check blah-di-blah-di-blah.. nothing really interesting.. haba pila XD ... then we went to UNF's One Stop Service thingy to ask about jobs sa UNF.. they referred us to the website (waw XD ) and told us to just check the job openings and to make my applications there... they also told us to go to the dept. of human resources and inquire there.. it was in some other building.. but b4 we went there, since they had some computers, we checkd out the website.. saw some job openings so aun.. nice :D ..

wen we went sa human resources, they just did the same thing.. they referred us to the website haha owel.. so much for that XD

aftr evrything sa UNF, umuwi n kmi.. hinatid aq d2 sa bahay.. tapos nung gabi, me and tita jinky skyped mom and dad.. they discussed stuff about my loans and the funding for my school.. malaki kc uutangin ku this 1st year dhl ndi pa aq considered a florida resident.... kumbaga, international pa aq XD

long story short i ended up with 4 options:

1. Go to JU where i'd have less loan for this 1st year (since private school to and they don't look at me as an "international student") PERO, i would have a hard time getting to school everyday kc mas malayo ang JU from d2 sa bahay ni tita jinky.. because i'm still UNDER-AGE, and since learner's license pa lng hawak ku, i can't drive alone to school so magcocommute aq which is OK lng nmn skn BUT there isn't a lot of public transportation here in jaxksonville kaya mahihirapan aq.. sabi daw if i miss my bus, it might take HOURS b4 d next one.. tops panu kng umulan pa? :-S .. woe is me.. :( XD

2. Don't school for a year until i become a florida resident and tuition wud be SUPER WAY LESS EXPENSIVE for me for my freshman year (just to let u knw, i am almost 5 TIMES more expensive dhl ndi p aq florida resident) , and so that i could work and save up some money, and so that i could already be driving by next year.. I and evry1 else is against the idea kc they're saying that i shouldn't fret over a couple of thousands of dollars in debt that i don't study for the 1st yr.. (woah ryt? XD) .. well i agree.. i don't wanna be IDLE study-wise for a whole year.. though i can work a full 40 hours per week kc may HS diploma aq, im still not for the idea of me stopping for a year..

3. the FCCJ option: this was suggested by tito joel.. he said that i can go to FCCJ (Florida Community College of Jacksonville) and go for their 2-year nursing course tapos pag nurse na aq, i can continue studying for med school IF i decide to do so.. well, i asked aunt grettel about it (she's tita jinky's friend who's staying here in d house) since she's a surgeon and all, and she didn't suggest it cuz she said that med schools look a lot at where u went for ur undergrad study.. she says that i myt not even get noticed by any med school if i were to come from such a skul as FCCJ.. community college kc e.. which means, it's not as gud as JU or UNF.. also, tita jinky spoke to the sister of tita maricel who went thru this path, and said that u still hav to take 2 years of general college ed. b4 the 2 year nursing course.. so pretty much, 4 year course din.. pero u get to be practicing and actually working alrdy aftr the 4th year ( i don't even knw if this is faster than other nursing courses or not..) so basically, this option is out of the question too..

4 The Last Option: is to just stcik with UNF and just deal with the loan.. this is something i can just work off in the future and this is nothing compared to the student loans i would be taking kung mag memed school aq.. it aint that bad i guess.. tska we're still w8ing/hoping/PRAYING for more scholarships so.. the lord will provide .. and lastly, i can still get more scholarships within the year to lessen the loan if i work hard enuf and/or if i get into some sport team or something XD


so aun.. obviously, i chose option 4.. so ill just stick with it :) ;)

for the next few days ill just be taking care of some job applications tpos on friday.. SEA WORLD BAYBEH!! XD :D

Fam. Ed 101

Saturday: i woke up early in the morning, around 8 (well, i gues not that early XD), to go and try out tito joel's bike (as in bicycle ndi ung harley davidson nya ha XD) .. it's their bike that the use for exercise (not a stationary bike either XD).. they ride it on the road.. THAT kind of bike.. getch? XD

tita jinky runs every saturday morning.. WITH COLE.. huh!?? a baby running!? :-O

nah XD .. cole just stays in his stroller tpos tita jinky pushes it.. so SHE runs, not cole XD .. his stroller is a pretty sturdy stroller with wheels na parang pang bicycle din.. u may think kc n bka tumaob kung malubak.. nope! it's a strong stroller, don't wori ;) ..

so while she / they ran (XD), i rode the bike.. what's the big deal u may wonder? well, kakaiba kc ung bikes nila tita jinky e.. u have to wear special shoes that clip on to the pedals.. so u kinda hav to get used to clipping on and off the pedals.. don't wori, it's not hard ;) ..

we just went out around this big loop outside the subdivision, then bak inside the subdivision.. aftr that.. tita jinky taught me my responsibilities in the house.. im responsible for the bathroom that i share with cole in his room, all the glass stuff, and the vacuuming.. so i cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed all the carpets and the floor, and wiped all the glass stuff with windex.. tiring morning ey? XD :D .. that's just the start..

here's why this blog entry is entitled family education 101.. yesterday was also the party kela tita yvonne..

MAN! SO MANY RELATIVES!! wen we went there, i got to meet all my relatives on my mom's side.. the aunts and uncles that are the sons and daughters of the brothers and sisters of my mom's mom.. hope u got that :))

if i explained how im related to them all it would take forever so basically it's tita yvonne, tito stanley, tito yancy, tita an-an, tita am-am, tito ray, tita maricel, (tito joel and tito jeric [the2 cops] couldn't make it :| ..) and then all the kids.. ethan, adrienne, sidney, jon-jon, and jojo.. tapos the babies, eli and diego.. .. there's more but let's just leave it at etc..

at the party, basically, kain2.. kamusta kamusta.. them wondering how my mom and dad are doing.. them asking about skul, etc.. tapos moost of it was me and james trying to fend off all the kids! hahaha.. they would wrestle us! haha XD .. si sidney, who is a girl, is actually one of the tougher ones! she'd come up to us and all of a sudden start punching us haha XD .. sanay na si james pero aq ndi pa so aun.. fun naman e XD ;)

also, we played oustide a little.. baseball and football which was really fun kht catch2 lng.. tpos their neighbor there, he set up a race for the kids tapos sumali kami ni james.. basically un.. it was fun.. though really tiring XD

tapos i went home na.. and then next morning, which was kanina.. nag-bike ulit kami ni tita jinky excpet this time la c cole so nagbike din c tita jinx.. we biked on the road, went to the towncenter, to UNF, and to tiseltown (which is a theatre here) , tpos bak home.. it took us about an hour.. around 13 miles daw.. we then had bfast, washed the bikes, then got ready for church.. :D ;)

aftr church, umuwi na aq with tita norie, gna stay here at her place for the night cuz she's bringin me to my driver's test and to UNF tomorow... Pray for me plz :D ..

and in a nutshell (a pretty big one i'd say, haha XD ..) that was my weekend.. hihi ^_^ :D

Study fest...

Man.. mula umaga p lng nag-aral n aq..

i just had breakfast tpos un na.. around 9:30, nag-aral n aq.. I 1st studied for my driver's test.. read the 2 main chapters of the book, read the module that we got from the traffic law a nd substance abuse class, tpos answered the review questions in the book.. DAMI! mga 70 Q's amp.. 71 to be exact XD .. i finished mga 12:30.. i then had lunch, fed bambi, took a bath, then rested for an hour till about 2:30..

2:30 hanggang mga 6, inaral ku nmn ung para sa math test ku for UNF.. ndi p aq natapos! XD i had a couple of pages to go wen tita jinky called me and said we'r gna go to costco (it's a huge grocery/ wholesail/retail store..).. got bak by mga 7:30.. ate dinner, finished studying.. tpos eto na..

not much of a day ey? XD but im just trying to develop the habit of blogging often.. ima do emails once in a while wen something significant happens.. pero pag la lng nmn, sa blog ku n lng ikkwen2.. XD

My day 2day @_@

I woke up dis morning at around 9 am and went straight to d computer.. :D .. i played around wid my blog, email stuf, fster stuf, ym stuf, chit chat blah blah tpos naputol ung internet while i was in a conference wid cla azz, tats, sean, jesus etc.. sori guys XD

also, i greeted cla aicz and ai for tantananan!! XD it's their birthday today :) ... once more, ima say it agen...

nwala ung net by mga 11 tpos it came bak by mga 1.. but still, it wasn't an idle time for me.. james had some stuf for me that i could study for my math test so aun.. i studied XD .. i ate lunch, went bak to studying tpos wen d net came back (yay XD) i got to refer to the net on some topics..

dumami ng dumami ung mga things that i got from james as i looked for em and organized em so aun.. aral3 XD .. i hardly had any breaks cuz evrytym i went on a break, la din aq magawa so i ended up going bak to work din kaagad.. XD @_@

b4 i knew it, it was around 4 lrdy! gulat aq ambilis amp XD .. wen i finished studying james's notes and tests nd stuf, i started compiling info from the net naman.. i made myself a reviewer and it took me about an hour.. by this time, mga 5 na and tita norie came bak from work.. i printed my stuf and FINALLY got to rest XD .. haay (sigh of relief XD)

so aun... rest tpos laro onti wii tpos kain tpos i had to go na... tita norie dropped me off kay tito joel and dropped off james and becca at their taekwando thing.. :>

d2 sa bahay, wen i got bak i did some stuff for my skul.. GRABE TALAGA D2!! so many stuf to make abala for para sa skul.. d2 kc, the gov't and the school's are generous in helping out the students with college in terms of financial aid.. it's all about me trying to get grants, aids, and loans and stuff for the funding of my 1st year.. it's complicated XD

nyweiz aun.. while doing this, ka-skype ku dad ku.. tapos mamaya-maya tito jeric came! hehe weee .. he's the bro of tito joel.. their both cops.. so aun la lng hehe.. katuwa lng.. tpos nakaskype pa nya dad ku.. their both like, "PARE MEN TOL CHONG" if ya knw wat i mean XD .. he also took care of me wen i was a baby since i was the first born sa LAHAT!! aq eldest sa mga cousins and blah.. kaya andaming mga nag-alaga skn nung baby pa me sa new york wen evrybody was still there.. :P :)

Im here at tita norie's house.. :> .. it's her birthday today.. she just turned 44 hehe.. we ate dinner out knna at a mexican place.. tito joel couldn't come cuz he's on duty till 12 2nyt.. (he's a cop btw) :D .. it was just me, tita jinks, tita nors (sisters on my mom who btw is at germany ryt now on a business trip XD), james, becca (my cousins), uncle dave (tita norie's husband), and coley (teh baby) XD :) ..

aftr dinner, i went with cla tita norie na and now im at their house.. yay XD .. since yesterday kc, the internet's been down kaya sry i haven't been able to go OL :|

btw! hehe tita jinky and tito joel bought me shoes yesterday kaya aun.. weeeee! XD .. thanks agen tito joel and tita jinky :)

umm for the week my plans are to study for the wriiten test for my learner's license and for my math placement test for UNF .. also, this saturday, there's gonna be a party at my tita yvonne's place.. there's gonna be a get together.. kainan.. that kinda thing.. XD tpos this sunday, ima sleep agen here at tita norie's place cuz she's gna bring me bak to the driving school place where ima take the test.. wish me luck! :D .. or should i say, pray me blessing! XD :D :)

nyweiz, hopefully tmrw wen i go bak to tita jinky's place ayos na ung net.. ima send another email.. i composed it lrdy last nyt, pero since sira nga ung net, di ku pa nasend.. check u'r mail ayt? feel free to reply.. i'd love to hear from ya.. :D ..

Xenxa n ampangit pa ng blog ku.. iunno how to make it all pretty and stuff yet.. don't worry i'll work on it.. :D

Umm.. dis is d main reason for me making this blog.. wen i send my emails to you all, mailer daemon sends me a msg telling me the people i wasn't able to send the msg to.. in other words, not evrybody gets my mails.. thus the solution: *cheesy magic trick sound effect* XD .. this blog.. :P .. at least now, everybody can see my msgs and post a comment quicker and easier than having to reply by sending an email.. ;)

as i move on, i'll try to make my blog look better para nmn ndi kau mababato visiting the blog XD .. i may need your help by the way, all you people who have experience with blog making.. :D
.. ima need your help to make my experience with blogging satisfying enuf that i dont go back to emailing XD ..

P.S. if any of u guys have a LONG message for me, or something u'd lyk to keep between us 2 and not exposed to the public, email nyu n lng aq.. i will still check my emails often.. and may send 1 evry now and then..
